Braxpack will not be able to go. She will be on her way home from vacation in Florida.

If no one else has, I have started updating the coords. I will be able to send a GPX file closer to the date if anyone needs it.

The plan so far is to tackle Oh Snap in Suffolk, VA on Saturday and then the Star Trek geoart on Sunday up near Hampton Roads, VA. All are welcome to include folks who can only join us for one of the two days. Please let me know if you are interested. Once again, we are planning for the weekend of 7-8 November. We will send specific details to folks who are participating.

I have been corresponding with Oh Snap and he will be joining us at the event cache on Saturday morning http://coord.info/GC65KNP

He recommended we add http://coord.info/GC4TTVJ to our agenda. This cache is a wormhole for trackable that want to go to Australia.

I know we have a couple of folks who will reach milestones on this trip. Please let us know if you will have a milestone and if you have identified a cache you want to visit for your milestone.

I will be sending out a list of caches in the area that are noteworthy based on age, type, or favorite points.

We had a wonderfully fun and productive trip down south to complete the Oh SNAP and Star Trek geoart trails. We started the weekend off with an event cache at ODoodleDoo's Donuts, this is a must do experience for anyone who happens to be in the Suffolk area. The donuts there were absolutely amazing! We arranged to meet Papa and Nana Snap, they were so nice and exceedingly helpful. All of our southern caching brethren were welcoming and helpful. I must admit the Star Trek trail was VERY time consuming and frustrating. Many of the containers were missing (we replaced them) and several of the correct answers turned out to be wrong coordinates. Glad we finished the trail but bummed we could have spent our time on better caches. Despite the frustration of Star Trek, we had a great weekend and ate at a couple of fantastic restaurants I highly recommend: the Plaid Turnip in Suffolk, and Food for Thought in Williamsburg.
